What is Caverject Impulse (Alprostadil) used for?

Your physician will determine the correct dose at his or her office, and will also give instructions on how to properly inject it. Patients should expect to notice an erection 5 to 20 minutes after administering the injection, and the erection should usually last no longer than 1 hour. Patients should not use this medication more than 3 times per week, with at least a 24 hour interval between each usage.
