What is Creslip (Telmisartan/Atorvastatin) used for?

Creslip (Telmisartan/Atorvastatin) is used for the treatment of high cholesterol levels. It has two medications which work together to raise levels of "good" cholesterol (High-density lipoproteins or HDL) and lower levels of low-density lipoproteins (LDL) while reducing blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist that widens blood vessels to increase blood circulation. Atorvastatin reduces cholesterol production in the liver. By reducing cholesterol levels and increasing blood circulation, Creslip is a very effective treatment for patients at high risk for conditions related to high cholesterol.

How should I use Creslip (Telmisartan/Atorvastatin)?

Creslip (Telmisartan/Atorvastatin) should always be used as directed by your doctor. Misapplication of this medication can lead to serious health problems. The normal prescription is one tablet each day. Your doctor may raise your daily dosage to two tablets after observing your response to treatment. Please note that two tablets is the maximum daily dosage and should never be exceeded.

Creslip tablets should always be swallowed whole and never altered prior to application. They should always be swallowed with a large glass of water and can be taken with or without food. If you experience an upset stomach after using the medication, eat a snack prior to swallowing the tablets. Attend regular appointments with your doctor for blood tests to monitor your progress and make any required adjustments. Never attempt to alter your own dosage or self medicate.
