Your physician may tell you to begin taking Yasmin Oral Contraceptive (Drosperinone / Ethinylestradiol) pills on the first day of your cycle or else on the first Sunday after your period. Take the yellow (active) tablets for 21 days. If your package contains 7 white inactive tablets, take these for 7 days, after which you may begin taking a new package. However, if your package only contains 21 tablets, you will have a 7 day break from taking pills, after which you should start a new pack.
